As a global citizen, JCS aspires to exhibit high environmental standards in the communities in which we operate. We concentrate our efforts on those activities in which we feel that we can have the most impact. These are:
REDUCE – Consistently reducing waste in the manufacturing and shipping processes
REUSE – Whenever possible, opting for reuse of shipping and other materials
RECYCLE – Maintaining a commitment to recycle raw goods, using recycled materials and promoting recycling among our consumers
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE – Remaining committed to not only meeting, but exceeding when possible our compliance to environmental and other regulatory standards
We regularly evaluate facility manufacturing processes and operations, air emissions, wastewater discharges and solid wastes to identify any potential impact on health and safety or the environment. Strategies are regularly implemented to prevent or reduce any significant impact on employees or the environment. JCS aims to be a leader in environmental sustainability. As such, we actively put in place corporate environmental policies that go beyond the most stringent legal requirements.
